The “Living in the blue” project is part of the Lambrate district in Milan.
The intervention consists in the redevelopment and transformation of the area to be used for commercial and residential functions.
The park covers a very large area and acts as a connecting element between the several buildings.

Grolla hard limestone clads the central flooring with random lengths, the pillars and the various furnishing elements (benches and planters).
The chosen finish is sandblasted, ideal for the contemporary style of the structure and in harmony with the blue diamond ceramics of the facades.
This finish enhances the beauty of the vein, is non-slip and easy to clean.

The project by Atelier (s) Alfonso Femia is included in the shortlist of The Plan Awards 2020 in the “Housing” category.
