The paving of the Gran Viale Regina Elisabetta in the romantic Venice city was made with 8,000 square meters of flamed Grolla Venato. The 4-cm-thick hard limestone is glued on a high-quality screed.

The avenue with random lengths is suitable for motor vehicles and is close to the sea: Grolla was therefore chosen for its strength and resistance given the heavy traffic and the high water phenomenon.
